‘People’ Names Adam Levine ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

Looks like I missed again...

People magazine announced Tuesday that Maroon 5 frontman and "Voice" coach Adam Levine has been named 2013's "Sexiest Man Alive", E! News reports.

It may not be a surprise to a lot of people, but Levine says that the honor took him completely by surprise. "As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," he told People. "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."

Rumors began circulating on the interwebs last week that Levine was the frontrunner for SMA, but he simply brushed them off as rumors.

Congratulations, Adam! Guess I'll have to settle for second place again...
