It was announced Tuesday that rapper Pitbull will serve as host of the American Music Awards.

The Cuban-American rapper is helping the AMAs celebrate the 15th year of presenting the Favorite Artist Latin category.

He'll also be performing his latest hit "Timber" alongside Ke$ha. Other scheduled performers include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and One Direction.

The American Music Awards are scheduled to air live from Los Angeles Nov. 24 on ABC.
