FBI Sketch Artist Draws Women Based Off Their Own Descriptions to Celebrate ‘Real Beauty’

Something I tell people when they come in my studio to record a commercial is: You will be your own worst critic. This video of a forensic sketch artist hired by Dove to sketch "real beauty" is a prime example of what I'm talking about. To paraphrase, you spend so much time trying to fix what's wrong that you don't appreciate all the things that are right.

Women are their own worst beauty critics. Only 4% of women around the world consider themselves beautiful. At Dove, we are committed to creating a world where beauty is a source of confidence, not anxiety. So, we decided to conduct a compelling social experiment that explores how women view their own beauty in contrast to what others see.
