Preparing for Navy Week: Meet Hometown Sailor Tim Butler

Navy Week is set for April 27-May 3 in Shreveport-Bossier. As we prepare for that, we highlight some of our Hometown Sailors.

Today, it's ET1 Timothy Butler, who served six years of active duty, then returned home to Shreveport to help care for his father, who was battling cancer. He joined the Navy Reserves and shortly after that enrolled in the Troops for Teachers Program. Now, he's a teacher at Woodlawn High School.
