Actress Anne Hathaway got a chance to hang with President Obama Monday during a campaign fundraiser where the President praised her role as Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises".

The fundraiser was held at the Connecticut home of movie producer Harvey Weinstein, whose other guests included "The Newsroom" creator Aaron Sorkin, Jerry Springer, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour, according to a Los Angeles Times pool reporter.

Obama gave an assessment of Hathaway's performance in the latest Batman film, saying, "I did get a chance to see Batman. And she was the best thing in it. That's just my personal opinion."
