A few days ago, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong posted a picture of K-Pop star Psy to his Instagram page with the caption, "This dude is the herpes of music. Once you think it's gone, it comes back.#herpes #flareup #pleasegoaway." Which is kind of what we said. Billie, are you reading our posts?

Psy got a chance to respond to Armstrong's tweet during an appearance on Fuse, and he may have thrown shade or legitimately taken the insult as a compliment. First, the 'Gangnam Style' singer had to clarify the meaning of herpes with the interviewerasking, "So this is like a disease?"

Like the 'Gentleman' he is, Psy said he thinks the herpes comparison is actually kind of cool. Before responding, he had to double check who exactly Billie Joe Armstrong from "Green Days" was, saying, "I think it's really cool and I appreciate that. Thank you." You just can't phase this man, people! Maybe Psy really does know who the rocker is, but used the language barrier as a means to throw shade. Either way, he handled the insult like a total pro.

We get why perhaps some people are not huge fans of Psy (really, we do), but maybe Billie's pointing his finger at the wrong person? It was Scooter Braun, after all, who introduced us to Psy and the pony dance.
