In a move which surprised absolutely no one, "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson announced that he will be leaving the reality talent show at the end of this season.

Jackson's announcement comes after reports that Fox was considering replacing all four judges when the show returns for its 13th season

"I'm very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry," said Jackson when he made the announcement. "It's been a life-changing opportunity."

Jackson told The Wrap that he'll be concentrating on his company, Dream Merchant 21, and his other ventures..

"Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, who's worked with Jackson on the show since its 2002 premiere, addressed the news during Thursday's results show when he said, "Of course, a little later on, we'll be revealing who is leaving our show," sending a look Jackson's way before quipping, "Maybe a heads up?"

The one who actually ended up leaving was Angie Miller, which means Candice Glover and Kree Harrison will battle it out on next Thursday's results show and season finale.
