Re-Imagine Caddo Plan for Schools Is Approved [VIDEO]

The Caddo School Board has unanimously approved the Re-Imagine Caddo School plan for under-performing schools.

9 new principals have been appointed to run the struggling schools in the parish.

We had a chance to chat with Caddo Parish School Communication Director Bill Strother about Re-Imagine Caddo:

We saw this plan as an opportunity to fully involve our community from the beginning. We started with our meeting so the community had an opportunity and that everyone had an opportunity to give input into the plan. That's gone on up until the end.

After getting input from parents and teachers, the plan was developed as a way to improve the education students get in the so-called "transformation zone" schools. A top priority is to improve student test scores. Parents also more technology updates in these schools.
