This fall we'll be shaking our groove thang to help our local kids.

LSU Shreveport is gearing up for their first Dance Marathon benefiting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals hosted by Phi Mu. Make plans to join the fun on November 12 for six hours of dancing and helping our local kids. This year's theme is Dancing through the Decades. Each hour of dancing will feature music from a different decade. Every dollar raised will be donated to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

And registration is already open!

For just $25, you can dance the night away. The fun will get started at 7 p.m. at the Bossier Civic Center. The party won't stop until 1 a.m. the following day. T-shirts will also be available for purchase. The money raised will stay right here in Shreveport-Bossier to fund the 17 programs at CHRISTUS Health Shreveport-Bossier that local families use without ever seeing a bill. This year's Dance Marathon is open to the public.
