Work began around mid-March to renovate one of Shreveport's oldest fire stations.

Fire Station 10 was built around 1926, and was in serious need of repairs, especially to the roof. Fire Chief Scott Wolverton told us when the construction began that the building's historical status had to be taken into account while planning the work.

The renovations are scheduled to be completed September 16.
