The Renzi Education and Art Center does so much for the kids in our community. Once again, you have a chance to return the favor.

The Renzi Education and Art Center is hosting its second annual Jazz & Blues Brunch Fundraiser on Saturday, April 5th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Shop. Tickets are $35 and all proceeds go to the Renzi Center to support the After School Program and Summer Camp for at-risk youth.

You'll hear the greatest jazz and blues musicians from The SBC perform, like Buddy Flett, Trevarri Huff-Boone and more.

Brunch will be delicious shrimp and grits, beignets, and more prepared by Marilynn's Place and Rhino Coffee. For the adults, Bloody Marys and Mimosas will be available for purchase.

The Renzi Center will also host a raffle for an LG 50" Plasma Screen HD Television. Raffle tickets are only $5 and you do not have to be present to win.

Founded in 1997 by the Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows, the Renzi Education and Art Center is a non-profit organization in Highland. They offer a free After School Program with academic classes taught by professional instructors and local artists. Throughout the school year, about 60 children in grades Kindergarten through 12th from the Shreveport-Bossier area.
