Rapper Rick Ross and his bodyguard were arrested at his Fayette County home Wednesday morning. Both were charged with aggravated assault and kidnapping, while Ross was hit with an additional charge of aggravated assault, Marshals' Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force supervisor Jim Joyner tells E! News.

Joyner says that Ross and bodyguard Nadrian James were involved in an altercation with a maintenance worker on the property and allegedly pistol-whipped him.

Ross is currently being held without bail at the Fayette County Jail and will remain in custody until July 1. when he is scheduled to appear in court.
