Adele may have had the top-selling album and single of the year, but Rihanna rules when it comes to digital sales.

The singer was named the best-selling digital artist of all time by Nielsen SoundScan, with 47.5 million paid downloads of such hits as "Umbrella", "Only Girl in the World", and "We Found Love".

Rihanna beat out veteran artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, Eminem and Beyonce.
