Susan Williams went on Good Morning America to talk about her husband's death.

It's been just over a year since Robin Williams took his own life. Now, his wife Susan is speaking out. In an interview with Good Morning America, Susan talked about what really took her man away from her... and it wasn't depression.

Susan is bringing awareness to Lewy Body Dementia which had devastating effects on her husband during the last year of his life. Robin was experiencing devastating symptoms like vivid hallucinations and cognitive impairment.

She said he tried to keep it together as best he could in the final weeks of his life, but ultimately she does not blame Robin for taking his own life. She added that doctors told her his disease progression was one of the worst they had ever seen.

In addition, Susan opened up about the custody battle with his children over his estate. She mentioned that she may not be able to keep the couple's wedding gifts.

Robin killed himself on August 11, 2014 after being diagnosed with early stages Parkinson's disease.
