On the heels of this week's Westminster Dog Show, Robinson's Rescue in Shreveport, LA is hosting their annual fundraiser Best in Sheaux this Saturday at the Eldorado Casino and Resort!

We've spoken to Dr. Andrea Everson many times over the years, talking about all of the good that Robinson's Rescue does for the Shreveport/Bossier City community. We hope you'll find it in your heart to sponsor this worthy organization!

(318) 221-0017El Dorado Casino proudly presents Robinson’s Rescue Fifth Annual “Best in Sheaux” fundraiser on Saturday, February 15th, 6:30PM at Riverview Hall, located at 600 Clyde Fant Parkway in downtown Shreveport. Admission tickets are $75. To mark this milestone anniversary, Robinson’s Rescue will feature a dog show that includes 15 beautiful animals. A team of volunteers will escort each dog down the runway and the winner will be chosen by audience vote. Guests may purchase additional ballots for $10.
A dinner buffet and cash bar is being provided by Wine Country Bistro. A few of the tasty morsels our guests will be dining on include: Low country shrimp and grits, carving stations with accoutrements, artisanal cheese boards, deviled eggs, and more delicious entrees to enjoy; plus, signature “Best In Sheaux” cocktails, and complimentary wine and beer to savor.
The event will feature several fabulous silent auctions and raffles containing items from local vendors. Some of the auction highlights include: A limited edition and signed George Rodrigue “Blue Dog” print; a wheel barrel FULL of fabulous bottles of wine; hand painted dog bowls autographed by local celebrities; a dog bowl signed by Oscar winner, Jennifer Lawrence; LSU & Saints tickets; Fonville photographs from LSU Stadium and Mike the Tiger; two tickets to Wine & Swine; four tickets to Zocolo’s Wine Dinner; spa gift certificates, and the list goes on and on!!
All proceeds directly benefit the mission of Robinson’s Rescue. Our mission is to reduce dog and cat overpopulation by providing low cost spay and neuter surgeries. To include development programs that focus on the value of animal life. The organization also educates those on the direct relationship between the treatment of animals and the welfare of humans in our community.
