Fill up that tub and drop in a bath bomb because science is saying that if you take baths can actually make you live longer. Well there is more science in it than just filling up the tub and soaking your soul in some soapy warm water.

According to Bustle, the act of taking a bath can reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke by dipping your body in warm water. The trick is that you have to take 5 baths during the week. I know, imagine how pruney your fingertips are going to get.

However, there are studies that show that "water immersion is associated with increased volume of strokes," according to Bustle. But they also mention that it can reduce your heart rate, increase your cardiac output, and reduce peripheral vascular resistance. This is all found in a study that was published. You can find more details about the study here. Just make sure the water isn't too hot.
