Part two of a Super Load that arrived at The Port of Caddo Bossier earlier in July is set to move out early Saturday morning.

Edwards Moving and Rigging will begin moving a long reflux tank at 6AM. According to a news release from The Port, the first part of the Super Load couldn't have been transported without the infrastructure available there, specifically The Port's Slack Water Harbor, which allows barges to dock and unload cargo outside the river current.

The convoy of men and equipment will average 5 miles per hour each day for two days. The transporter will have one truck pulling and one truck pushing the combined weight of 716,455 pounds. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the transport route Saturday and Sunday. Traffic will have minor slowdowns with high congestion.

The sixe of the equipment being moved is 284’ 7” L X 12’ 10” W X 17’ 4” H.
