A security guard at a Shreveport nightclub is among those wounded in an early-morning stabbing.

Shreveport police were called to Central Station in the 1000 block of Marshall Street just after 2AM. They found Jeremy Jones suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper body. Jones was one of three unarmed workers who suffered minor wounds during the incident. He was taken to University Health for treatment.

Police have learned that the stabbing happened after two men apparently attempted to get into the club. One of them had been previously barred from the business for previous misconduct. That's allegedly what led to the stabbing.

Detectives are working to identify and catch the suspect involved. Anyone with information that can help is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373 or submit a tip online.
