I thought my boyfriend only had an obsession with old karate movies, but it turns out it is much deeper than an obsession. He apparently has a lot of history in martial arts. He studied taekwondo for several years, which I knew pretty early on in our relationship.

However, there was a mysterious video that was sitting on YouTube. In the video below my boyfriend was 16 years old. He volunteered at a public belt test by doing a demonstration.

I had no words. Except I did ask if he still had the nun-chucks, and no he doesn't. That was disappointing. I would have loved for him to teach me how to use them. Imagine me walking to my car late at night and someone approaches me. They tries to take my purse and then I just go ham on them with some nun-chuck action. Either way finding this video was pretty cool.
