The newly reincarnated Shreveport Mudbugs hockey team opened their 2016-17 home season Thursday night at the newly renovated Hirsch Coliseum.

Following a $2 million dollar renovation and re-christened George's Pond at Hirsch Coliseum, the 'Bugs kicked off their home campaign with a win over the Lone Star (Ft. Worth) Brahmas. Here's the Mudbugs first home goal of the season and the sellout fan frenzy that went with it!
