Selena Gomez just bought a new five-bedroom crib in Calabasas, Calif., the former stomping grounds of her ex, Justin Bieber. It didn't take long for a fan to breach security and for the singer and actress to deal with her first intruder and unwanted guest.

According to TMZ, authorities confirmed that Selena and a friend returned to the property on Sunday night (March 30) when they heard a strange noise. That's when Sel called her security detail to investigate the noise but before her team could heck out what the heck was going on, the "visitor" rang the doorbell. Sel's friend answered the door and the dude asked if the singer was home. The friend said she wasn't and the intruder left.

Cops arrived at the property to look into the issue and discovered that the man, 21, had broken into the guest house. He was then arrested and charged with burglary and trespassing. Yikes!

The perp is being held on $50,000 bail.

Poor Sel. She just drops $3 million on a lovely new home and barely has a minute to enjoy it when she is forced to deal with a security breach. She should probably beef up her security in light of this problem. These breaches are becoming more and more common, with Taylor Swift and Rihanna dealing with similar issues. Stay safe, ladies!
