Selena Gomez And Ed Sheeran Not Dating

In spite of some published claims to the contrary, including Us Weekly, singers Selena Gomez and Ed Sheeran are not dating.

A source tells E! News that the two are "Just friends", and have been so since Sheeran's tourmate Taylor Swift introduced them to each other.

But who is Ed dating? He says that he prefers to keep that information to himself, but he'll somtimes drop hints through his songs. In a recent interview with New York radio station Fresh 102.7 when asked if he was seeing anybody, Sheeran replied, "Even if I did have one, I wouldn't say anything anyway!"

"Everyone knows almost everything about me. I make it very clear that I'm cool with people knowing all my personal life through my songs," Sheeran told the station. "There's stuff that you want to go home to and have a little bit of an escape, and I think if I was to ever have one I wouldn't be mentioning her every five minutes in an interview."

Good for you, Ed! Always keep 'em guessing.
