Seth Rogen found himself in the middle of an online controversy last weekend when he took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the hit film "American Sniper", in which he compared it to "Nation's Pride", the faux Nazi propaganda film about a sniper that was shown in a portion of Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds".

After getting blasted by numerous media outlets including TMZ, USA Today and Fox News, Rogen clarified his initial statement by tweeting, "I just said something 'kinda reminded' me of something else. I actually liked 'American Sniper'. It just reminded me of the Tarantino scene."

He continued, "I wasn't comparing the two. Big difference between comparing and reminding. Apples remind me of oranges. Can't compare them, though."

He ended by blasting certain media outlets by tweeting, "But if you were having a slow news day, you're welcome for me giving you the opportunity to blow something completely out of proportion."

Another celebrity swept up in this controversy is filmmaker Michael Moore, who referred to snipers as "cowards", but did not explicitly mention the film.
