Several suspected drug dealers are behind bars following a traffic stop in west Shreveport.

Just after 7 last night, agents with Shreveport and Bossier City Police narcotics agents were working an undercover operation, when they made contact with the driver and passenger of a vehicle stopped in the 3100 block of Bert Kouns.

During the stop, authorities detained 32-year-old Gregorio Duque and 25-year-old McKenzie Taylor. A search of the couple's vehicle yielded a large amount of illegal narcotics. Duque was charged with possessing Schedule II drugs with intent to distribute, possessing Schedule I drugs and illegally carrying weapons with a controlled dangerous substance. Taylor was charged with possessing Schedule II with intent to distribute.

Agents seized more than 440 grams of crystal meth, valued at over $44,000, along with three grams of Black Tar Heroin and one dosage unit of Carisprodol. Nearly $1,600 in cash and a .22 caliber handgun were also found inside the car.

Additional information was gathered that led officers to obtain a search warrant at a home in the 3000 block of Hoyte Drive. There, authorities seized nearly two grams of meth, nine grams of marijuana, cash and a ballistic vest.

Four suspects were taken into custody and face identical charges of possessing Schedule II and possessing Schedule I drugs. Detectives say 60-year-old Phillis Yantis, 22-year-old Savanna Aymami, 21-year-old Jamie Clark and 22-year-old Mason Reeves were all arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center.
