Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested Thursday night in New York at a production of "Cabaret" at Studio 54 for allegedly disruptive behavior.

LaBeouf was charged with criminal trespass and two counts of disorderly conduct. He was escorted from the building in handcuffs while the play was underway, sources say.

Witnesses told WCBS-TV that the actor was seen wearing a ripped shirt a block away from the theater while they were on their way to the show. Other witnesses say that LaBeouf was spotted in the bar feeding a woman a strawberry from her own plate.

“Honestly, I wasn’t thinking of drunk or drugs. I was thinking he was working on a role, because it was that extreme,” witness Tina Marie Miller told WCBS. “If we didn’t know who he was, we’d assume he was a bum, literally, from how he looked and how he was acting.”

LaBeouf has been making headlines for his behavior over the past few years, most recently for walking out on a news conference at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year and later being seen wearing a bag over his head which read "I'm not famous anymore." Well, he still is, just not for the right reasons.
