    Horseshoe Casino's Buffet

Is your date a picky eater? Or you're just not sure what they'll like? It's REALLY hard to go wrong with the Horseshoe Casino's buffet. What it lacks in Valentine's Day atmosphere it makes up with delicious selection and fresh-made cotton candy!! Yes -- COTTON CANDY! That's a win in my book because my fiancé loves cotton candy.

    Red Lobster

A bit cliché? Perhaps. But hey, you can't go wrong with a classic fish dinner, lobster, shrimp or steak. I think the important question to ask yourself is, "How much do I love my taste buds?" The cheddar biscuits are so amazing you may forget about the food you ordered and tell the waitress to bring a whole pan of biscuits to the table.

    Carrabba's

What would a list of Valentine's Day dinner spots be without an Italian restaurant? This place has it all: a nice vibe, good drinks and good food. If you haven't tried the cheese sticks appetizer do yourself a favor and order up some. They blew my mind. "It's like REAL cheese!"

    Superior Steakhouse

Okay, if fancy schmancy is your game and you have some money on your credit cards and want AMAZING food, Superior's Steakhouse is perfect. My most recent visit I had the lunch special: a great salad, BBQ shrimp on a bed of mashed potatoes, and topped it off with Bread Pudding (that's actually made with Southern Maid Donuts). Good luck if you’re on a diet, because good Lord have MERCY is it good!

    Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro

Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro on the Louisiana Boardwalk is my choice for the BEST Valentine's Day location in Shreveport-Bossier! Why? Ambience. The light and music is low. The food: Delicious with a Cajun flair. And the King Cake Cheesecake is so rich you'll feel like Mardi Gras royalty. Plus, the bartending staff has it all figured out!

    Another Option

Of course there's always stay at home and order take out or Go Waiter. *shrug*
