Shreveport Mayor to Host Open Discussion About Police Protection on Saturday October 22nd

Mayor Ollie Tyler will gather law enforcement groups from around our area to have an open discussion with residents about police protection.

The Mayor has invited law enforcement leaders, community leaders and local residents to take part in the open dialogue. She wants to find ways to build a better relationship between police and the community. The event billed as "It's Everyone's Concern" is being held at Southwood High School on Saturday October 22nd from 10am-2pm.

The Mayor has been working to put together this panel in the wake of a rash of shootings in several of Shreveport's neighborhoods.
