Shreveport Police had a very surreal incident yesterday as they attempted to pull over a man riding a mini bike the wrong way on I-49 at about 1:40 pm.  According to KSLA, the suspect attempted to evade officers as he pulled on to Kings Highway and ditched his hog.  After a short chase on foot, Shreveport's finest were able to bring the man down.  After a short struggle and a little electric stimulation via taser, the man was subdued.  No officers were injured in the struggle, which is fortunate because police found marijuana and a gun on the suspect.  Not only was this a scary revelation, but it added to the charges the man will now face because of the incident.

The name of the suspect has not been released, but whoever he may be - he's facing a whole mess of charges.  So far, he has racked up resisting arrest, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and property damage regarding the police unit charges with several other charges pending.
