Shreveport Police on the Hunt for Shooting Suspect

Shreveport Police are looking for a suspect in a Tuesday evening shooting in west Shreveport.

Officers responded to a home located in the 1400 block of Buena Vista. Officers contacted two women, Nikki Johnson and Tanashaca Floyd.  Both told police a man suspect shot several times toward them, missing them and hitting a vehicle in the driveway. The suspect then fled the scene of the crime.

Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Detectives along with Crime Scene personnel were notified of the incident and immediately responded to the scene. Preliminary information gathered at the scene of the crime suggests the women along with a male acquaintance, which they refused to divulge his name, were shot at after a verbal exchange between them and the shooter.
