Finally, the tables have turned. Who's emotional now fellas?

Ladies, for decades we have been popping pills, getting shots, among other methods, to prevent pregnancy. With each of these methods comes their own sets of side effects. Weight gain, weight loss. Loss of appetite, appetite that literally consumes you. Mood swings and depression.

Well at last, it isn't all on us.

According to the CBS San Francisco, there is a birth control designed just for men. It is administered via injection into the arm and is reportedly just as effective as the pill. Of the 266 married men who tried the shot, only four became fathers. It's designed to lower a man's sperm count with hormones.

The side effects have me using the "sly smile emoji."

No, I'm not reveling in the fact that men are experiencing mood swings and/or depression. I'm just snickering at the idea of a couple getting into an argument and the woman finally gets to be the one who shouts "You're so over-emotional!" At last, we aren't the only ones doped up on contraceptives that mess with our psyche.

Of course, the gender gap on birth control probably wont be closing anytime soon. I mean, why would guys line up for this when clearly women are the only ones who can handle it.
