Multiple sources are reporting singer Amy Winehouse, 27, was found dead at her home in London at about 4 pm London time.

“Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.

On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”

While Winehouse was not named in the release, her age and address match those cited.

Known for her beehive hairdo and the 60s-retro vibe she displayed on her 2007 Grammy-winning album, ‘Back to Black,’ Winehouse has famously battled drugs and alcohol addiction for years. Several failed rehab stints have led her to cancel multiple concerts and comeback tours.

Most recently, she abandoned a European tour after a disastrous Serbian performance in which she slurred and forgot the words to her songs.
