Sir Mix-A-Lot returned to his hometown to perform with some of Seattle's most sophisticated musicians. The results are nothing short of hilarious.

Seattle is home to many great things, specifically Sir Mix-A-Lot and the Seattle Symphony. So why not mix the two of them together?

Sir Mix-A-Lot performed with the symphony over the weekend. Originally, they were supposed to perform "Posse on Broadway" (which references many of Seattle's streets and landmarks) however, due to the overwhelming demand for "Baby Got Back", a change was made.

Female audience members were invited on stage to dance, and the crowd grew as the song went on. Clearly the woman in the black dress, front and center, was ready to party.

The brain behind the collaboration is London-based composer, producer and DJ Gabriel Prokofiev. He's given orchestral treatments to songs from Jimi Hendrix, Alice in Chains, and Kurt Cobain of Nirvana.
