After a lengthy social hiatus, Nicki Minaj made her timely return to the public eye and announced two upcoming singles that will be released on Thursday afternoon (April 12). A pair of snippets have surfaced on social media and the Barbz have begun dissecting their origin.

One 15-second clip has been diagnosed as a possible upcoming song titled "Half Back" from Minaj—although its title, listed below, says "Chun Li". "I ain't never played a hoe position/I ain't never have to strip to get the pole position/Hoes dissing, okay these hoes is wishing," Nicki solemnly raps, causing some to believe she's taking shots at Cardi B.

The second unearthed snippet has been billed as a potential preview of "Barbie Tingz." The Queens native caresses the bouncy production with a mix of flows. "I cut all my niggas off but they would still wife me/Rap bitches tell they team make them like Barbie/Had to cut off IG so they can't stalk me/All the do is copy looks, steal music too," the 35-year-old rhymes taking aim at those who mimic her tendencies.

Nicki is slated to unleash "Barbie Tingz" and "Chun-Li" as singles to set the stage for her fourth studio album. The project will be her first LP since The Pinkprint in 2014.

Minaj made her way out of hiding to sit courtside at Tuesday's Los Angeles Lakers game (April 10), marking her first official public appearance in 2018.
