SPD Holding ‘Hiring Our Heroes’ Open House & Job Fair

If you've been looking for a career in law enforcement, the Shreveport Police Department is looking for some good candidates.

SPD will hold its annual Open House Job Fair this Saturday from 10AM-2PM at the Shreveport Police and Fire Regional Training Academy, located at 6440 Greenwood Road.

The department is offering tours and providing information on what it takes to become one of 'Shreveport's Finest.'

Recruiters will be on-hand to answer questions and provide insight into the career possibilities within the department, like Crime Scene Investigations, D.A.R.E. officers, Police Communications Officers, jailers, hostage negotiations and more.
