William "Bill" Paxton was an American actor and director starring in The Terminator, Weird Science, Aliens, Predator 2, True Lies, Apollo 13, Twister, and Titanic has now passed away at age 61 according to TMZ. Sources say that he passed away Saturday due to complications from a surgery. Bill leaves behind 2 children and was married to Louise Newbury.

The family told TMZ "It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery. illustrious career spanning four decades as a beloved and prolific actor and flimmaker. Bill's passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable."
