States With The Happiest Mugshots [LIST]

While I've never been arrested (knock on wood), I can't imagine I would be able to smile under any circumstance while in jail. I don't even like to smile for pictures, much less one that says I've been arrested for doing something illegal.

Believe it or not, though, some people smile while taking their mugshots.

A new study by Aizman Law Firm looked at over 30,000 mugshots across the nation to find out which states have the happiest mugshots! The used an app that detects emotion based on facial expressions, and here's what they found!

The top-five states when it comes to mugshot-happiness are North Carolina, Nevada, Indiana, Maine, and New York.

The five states with the saddest mugshots are West Virginia, Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Oregon.

Louisiana came in towards the bottom, it appears, based on their chart. Of course Louisianians aren't happy to be in jail, they don't serve Crawfish in there!
