"Twilight" fans can't get enough of it. Too bad its creator can.

When asked by Variety if she was considering a return to the successful franchise, she replied, "I get further away every day. I am so over it. For me, it's not a happy place to be."

However, she's not completely ruling out coming back to "Twilight", telling Variety, "What I would probably do is three paragraphs on my blog saying which of the characters died. I'm interested in spending time in other worlds, like Middle-Earth."

Meyer has moved on to her latest project, the comedy "Austenland" starring Keri Russell, who plays a Jane Austen fan who spends her vacation at an Austen-based country house. It's set for release Aug. 16.
