I'm still floating on Cloud 9!!! I went to see my eye doctor yesterday for a follow up on my LASIK surgery from last month and according to Dr. Planchard, I'm doing fabulously!!! Yea! I have 20/15 vision in my left eye and 20/20 in my right!

According to him, my vision could continue to fluctuate for a while yet, but the good news is that it will continue to get even better! I can't tell you how much this means to me. My only regret is that I didn't have the procedure done sooner.

I hope, that in one small way, I can give back through all of this. Like, by donating all of my old pairs of glasses. I have YEARS worth of old eye glasses and I know I'm not alone. I know I never threw them away because they were so darn expensive in the first place. So, I did some research and the Louisiana Lions Eye Bank accepts donations of used eye glasses. So, pretty please, can you look around your house for any old pairs of glasses? If you have some you'd like to donate, I'd be happy to come get them and include them in my donation. If you can help, let me know!!! They're doing great things for our community!

FYI, if you're interested in LASIK, I highly recommend Dr. Planchard at Planchard Eye and Laser Center at Willis-Knighton Bossier City. He's truly fantastic. He calmed my nerves and is meticulous in his work. It's not nearly as expensive as you think and they offer up to 18 months of interest free financing. Good luck!
