Sugarwalk Popcorn Brings Poppin’ Good Time to Shreveport

Have you tasted what's poppin' in Shreveport?

When I was living in Waco, Texas one of my favorite places in the area was a popcorn place called "Off the Cobb." I thought they had every flavor imaginable, well every flavor you could think to put on popcorn, at least.

And then I walked into Sugarwalk Popcorn on Youree Drive.

They have literally every flavor you can think of...period. Whether you are craving something sweet or something salty or even something spicy, they've got you covered. I stopped by last week and picked up some Margarita, bacon cheddar, Ragin' Cajun' caramel, and kettle flavored popcorn. Every single flavor satisfied. They even have a flavor that we have come to crave in Shreveport-Bossier... Crawfish.

Once you choose your flavor, choose your size; from mini (about two cups) to jumbo (about two buckets full). You can get a popcorn tin with your favorite team's logo on it. I've also been told that they can help you with your party-planning as they will customize a sticker to put on your popcorn bags. This would be great for showers, watch parties, etc.

But popcorn is not all they do.

They also sell what I consider as old-fashioned candy and classic sodas in unique flavors as well.

The owners are Stephen and Emily Walker. Stephen is a Shreveport native and Emily is from Dallas. They have been open for about a month now and are expecting a baby very soon. Talk about an exciting 2016 for the Walkers!
