Aleksander Robin Tomaszewski, a jailed criminal in Oregon, claimed that he was assaulted by detectives. In this poor attempt to get out of prison, he missed one thing... the surveillance footage.

Yes, cameras were rolling when Aleksander hit himself repeatedly in the face to create the illusion of police brutality. He reportedly hit himself 45 times. It wasn't until cops confronted him with the video that he admitted to his pathetic plan.

Aleksander was charged with initiating a false report and attempted coercion. After being found guilty last week, he was sentenced to 20 days in jail and fined $500. Who knows what he'll get now.
