Three men believed to be involved in four recent armed robberies in Bossier City have been arrested, after a detective working a surveillance operation overnight caught them trying to commit another heist.

Police say 22-year-olds Jeremiah Henry and Willie Solomon and 28-year-old Billy Earl Hervey, all of Corsicana, Texas, were taken into custory after officers caught them trying to rob the Comfort Suites Hotel in the 7900 block of East Texas Street at around 1:30 this morning.

A detective who was stationed outside the hotel as part of a joint surveillance operation between Bossier City Police and the Bossier Sheriff's Office saw Henry and Solomon approach the hotel and cover their faces before attempting to enter through a side door. After finding out the door was locked, both ran to an awaiting car with Hervey in the driver's seat.

The suspects tried to get away, but were quickly stopped and taken into custody on East Texas Street directly in front of the hotel. All three were arrested for attempted armed robbery. They also face armed robbery charges after detectives linked them to Thursday's armed robbery at the Hilton Garden Inn in the 2000 block of Old Minden Road.

Investigators say the three are also suspected of being involved in the July 31 armed robberies of the Circle K at Airline and Brownlee, Hampton Inn and Suites in the 2600 block of Viking Drive and Quality Inn in the 2700 block of Village Lane, but they've not been charged with any of those crimes yet.
