Mardi Gras in the SBC Kicks Off this Saturday with 12th Night!

I dropped off five Mardi Gras dresses to the cleaners today and got a Dryel for the rest that can't be dry cleaned... I'm getting my nails done tonight and I plan to Mystic in the morning. Yep, Mardi Gras kicks off this Saturday and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

OMG... It's gotta be the hottest Summer in history. Seriously, I don't know the stats or anything, but I can't remember it being this oppressive in a long, long time... and the poor students of Desoto Parish are heading back to school next week. Businesses are advertising their back to school specials, moms are fighting over the last red polo in their child's size and the kids are going to be sweating like crazy on their school buses. It couldn't feel FARTHER from Fall, back to school and football!
