controlled burn

Thick, black smoke could be seen this morning along I-20, and many have been wondering what was on fire.

FYI, if you see smoke in far west Caddo Parish, there is a controlled burn happening in some woods around the 6700 block of Jefferson Paige Rd, out toward the Texas/Louisiana state line.  Caddo Fire District 3 was called out because of numerous calls to the 911 call center – but it’s nothing for citizens to be concerned with, and is being properly managed.
