Man Alive!!! I swear I was still throwing cups and beads in my dreams last night! Wow! We had a blast yesterday riding in the Highland Parade and the weather was PERFECT for it! There were huge crowds and they were ready for some fun! Hopefully everyone got their hands on a K945 cup or set of beads!

In their traditional, non-traditional way, the Krewe of Atlas revealed their royalty for the upcoming 2012 Mardi Gras season with much fun and frivolity Saturday night at the American Legion in Shreveport. The Krewe of Atlas, known for it's diversity, hosted the Island of Shipwrecked Fools themed Coronation, where yours truly was crowned the Duchess of Lagniappe IV along hubby Keith, who isn't a duchess of course, he's the Duke of Lagniappe IV... Even though he looks quite nice in eyeliner!

Grey's Musical… FAIL!

Wow! Last night was an interesting night on TV. I had a Krewe (Atlas) meeting last night so we didn't get home until 10pm... at that point you have to make a decision... American Idol or the season finale of Grey's Anatomy... I chose WRONG!!!! As Keith said, "Grey's Anatomy is beyond jumping sharks... they're jumping WHALES!" What was up with the forced musical???

Yesterday, we rode in the Krewe of Highland Parade with the Krewe Keith and I belong to, the Krewe of Atlas. We had an absolute blast! And as you know, it was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! We shook our butts to Madonna, Britney, Gaga, Ke$ha and Jimmy James! I'm so loving this song;) Momma Monster gives it two paws up! Enjoy the pics;) Oh yeah, and we also started working on the new hit single, 'I Jingle When I Rock!' thanks to Lea Ann and her awesome jingly Mardi Gras bracelets! Happy Mardi Gras!
