The Shreveport/Bossier Captain of Captains Doug Kochenderfer has released an updated calendar of events for Mardi Gras festivities in the SBC! There have been several changes, so if you're Mardi Gras inclined, def check this out!
Man Alive!!! I swear I was still throwing cups and beads in my dreams last night! Wow! We had a blast yesterday riding in the Highland Parade and the weather was PERFECT for it! There were huge crowds and they were ready for some fun! Hopefully everyone got their hands on a K945 cup or set of beads!
I love Mardi Gras, don't get me wrong. But we are in the part of Louisiana that THINKS they are part of Texas, until something Louisiana related happens. It's not our fault, I mean, the Disney movie "The Princess and the Frog" said it best
According to the Krewe of Gemini's Facebook, the parade is going on! As long as there is no thunder or lightning, it is in full force! The parade is starting downtown Shreveport at Lake Street and Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway and ends at the Duckpond at East Kings Highway to Preston Ave.
