The NFL has suspended New Orleans Saints’ head coach Sean Payton for one year as punishment for the team’s admitted use of a bounty system from 2009 to 2011. Payton was aware of the system, which compensated players for hits inflicted on opponents.

Payton’s suspension is slated to begin April 1.

Talk about a bizarre chain of events: Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage was arrested early Saturday morning in New Orleans on charges of public drunkenness, disturbing the peace and domestic abuse battery.

The arrest stemmed from an argument Cage had with his wife, Alice, about the location of the house they were renting.

How cool is this!?!?! Our local Fox affiliate KMSS Fox 33 told us a Shreveport native, Natalie Hanson, had auditioned in New Orleans but couldn't tell us much more than that... So when the NOLA auditions came on, I was GLUED to the screen and totally bummed when I didn't see her. Well, that didn't last long because we got a good look at Ms. Hanson last night during Hollywood Week's Group Night.
