Yesterday, I had the distinct pleasure of getting to talk to Lindsay Dean from Susan G. Komen. She has a crazy long title, but in a nut shell she's a driving force with Susan G. Komen in our area. The group has found a way to meet the needs of teens who would like to go to prom, but can't afford formal attire while also raising money for Susan G. Komen.

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization is hosting a fundraiser for breast cancer research today at Joe's Crab Shack on the Louisiana Boardwalk. Print out the following flyer and present it at the restaurant when you eat lunch or dinner and 10 percent of your check will to go toward breast cancer research.
