Qualifying is over and now it's time to begin thinking about who you will vote for in the Shreveport Mayor's race.

Seven people have qualified to run for Mayor. There were a couple of surprises during the final hours of qualifying. We want to hear your opinion.

Of all of the candidates, only one, Sam Jenkins has served on the City Council. The others have various backgrounds that they believe will make them the best choice in the race.

Shreveport has some serious issues to deal with in the coming years. All of the candidates should be prepared to have a plan to address the challenges ahead.
