Following a wave of supportive messages across social media from the likes of everyone from Ariana Grande to Lady Gaga to Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift has reportedly also thrown her support behind Kesha and her ongoing legal battle — in the form of money.

This evening (February 21), Kesha's mother, Pebe Sebert, tweeted a joyful acknowledgement of receiving a $250,000 donation for Kesha from the 1989 superstar.

"Taylor Swift has just generously donated $250,000. to Kesha, as a show of support during this difficult time.AMAZING!!" she wrote.

"A persons wealth is not measured by what they have but by WHO they they help with it. And Taylor Swift is is a truly RICH PERSON. Thank you🌹 Most important for Kesha, is that these beautiful, powerful women are standing behind her, letting the world see how powerful the truth is!" she continued.

On Friday (February 19), Kesha's request for an injunction was denied in her ongoing lawsuit against producer Dr. Luke, who she originally sued back in October of 2014, claiming that she had been “sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abused” over the course of their 10 year relationship. The producer fired back with a counter-lawsuit, claiming Kesha was lying and trying to extort him to get out of their binding record contract.

Aside from the reported monetary donation, Swift has yet to publicly comment on the court's decision or Kesha's situation.
