Taylor Swift's reps have denied reports that she and boyfriend Conor Kennedy showed up uninvited to Liam Kerr and Kyle Kennedy's wedding, but there was someone who was there who knows the real story.

Thursday on the "Today" show, host Kathie Lee Gifford confirmed that Swift and Kennedy did indeed crash the wedding.

"Why can't I stay out of trouble? I was just a guest at that wedding. [Kyle] is actually my granddaughter by marriage," said Gifford. "The truth is, because I was there, Vicki's account is accurate." Gifford also confirmed that the two were twice asked to leave.

Gifford says that Victoria Gifford Kennedy, mother of the bride, did not want Taylor and Conor's presence to steal their daughter's thunder on her big day.

"It's the bride's day, and that was Vicki's other concern," said Gifford. She then quoted Kennedy as saying, "This is my daughter's day and I would appreciate it if you would not come."
